Dante R. Charles/ "Does Anyone Care About The Fathers" |
Welcome to my website. Here you will find detailed information about my book and soon to be produced film. You will find that this book is not only a great read for entertainment, but it is also a great resource for educational research, or essay projects. Feel free to explore my site and see the various areas that I am perfecting.
I am in the final stages of writing this long awaited book that is very dear to millions of fathers across America. My book deals with the "good" fathers whom are never recognized for their role of being a strong model for their children, yet never get the deserved opportunity to spend time with their children or even see them. The book will deal with laws, legislation and the one sided depressive act of loving fathers having no rights to their children unless it is the right to pay money for the child's well being. In America a child is not considered the fathers child until it comes to the father paying money through child support. Nevertheless, when it comes to that same father wanting to spend time with his child, then he does not have rights as the father and have to prove the child is his through a legitemation process. Amazing how money makes the difference even in the precious lives of children in our perfect America. This topic is one of the most controversial issues across America and is by far one of the most leading causes of many children failing in schools and academics. 80% of young Black males who drop out of high school come from homes where the father is absent for one reason or another. Obviously this absence is affecting our youth. Surely we must see the urgency and undying need for loving fathers who wish and express a desire to be involved in their children's lives. We must not ignore the good fathers who desperately try to love and support their children with total involvement and not just via their check books.
